Delete your account

You can delete your BudgetBuddy account and all data linked to it at any time, in the app or by email.

In the app

1. Open BudgetBuddy and tap your profile picture to open Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm.

Your account and its data are deleted from our servers straight away.

If you have BudgetBuddy Premium, cancel the subscription in Google Play (or the store you subscribed with) too - deleting your account doesn't cancel it.

Without the app

Email yskudilov@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my BudgetBuddy account". We'll delete the account and all its data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

Everything stored with your account: your email address, password and profile picture, connected banks, accounts, transactions, imported statements and receipts, categories, rules and tags, budgets, bills, goals, debts, assets, credit scores, subscriptions, challenges and points, AI conversations, notifications and devices, your household membership and split groups you own, and your sign-in sessions. Nothing is kept afterwards, apart from server logs, which are kept only briefly for security.
